LIHINI BOOKS - ළිහිණි පොත්

 I initially decided to publish the books on my blog but later I delayed it a bit. Because of the copyright issue on those books. But a few people asked me to look for old books that were hard to find and could not be reprinted. So I decided to publish a few such old books from time to time as time allowed.

Accordingly, I bring you today some of the books in the Lihini series of books published by Gunasena Publishers  about fifty to sixty years. 

Many of these books were given to me by Mr Chiran Windsor, who currently resides in Australia. He presents a large number of such old books through the Facebook group 'Home Librarians' Association'(ගෘහ පුස්තකාල හිමියන්ගේ සංගමය.) He also gave permission for the books to be published on my blog. During his recent visit to Sri Lanka, he distributed a large number of books in his possession free of charge. I also got some Lihini books there. Accordingly, the number of Lihini books I had increased. Similarly, I came across a collection of poems  (මියගිය කිරිල්ලි ) on the facebook page called Forgotten Pages(අමතක වුණු පිටු.) That book is also a book I have. The book that was published on that page is presented here without scanning it again. Also included are several other books found on the Internet.

මගේ බ්ලොග් අඩවියේ පොත් පළ කරන්නට මා මුල දී තීරණය කර තිබුණත් පසුව මා එය මඳකට ප්‍රමාද කළා. ඒ පොත්වල ප්‍රකාශන අයිතිය සම්බන්ධ ගැටලුව නිසායි. එහෙත් සොයාගැනීමට අපහසු නැවත මුද්‍රණය වේ යැයි සිතිය නොහැකි පැරණි පොත් සොයා දෙන මෙන් කිහිප දෙනෙකු මගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියා. ඒ නිසා ඉඩකඩ ලැබෙන පරිදි වරින් වර එවැනි පැරණි  පොත් කිහිපයක් පළ කරන්නට මා තීරණය කරා.

ඒ අනුව ගුණසේන සමාගම විසින් මෙයට වසර පනහකට හැටකට පමණ පෙර මුද්‍රණය කරන ලද ලිහිණි පොත් මාලාවේ පොත් කිහිපයක් අද ඔබ වෙත ගෙන එනවා. මේ පොත් බොහොමයක් මා වෙත ලබා දුන්නේ දැනට ඕස්ට්‍රේලියාවේ වෙසෙන Chiran Windsor මහත්මයා විසින්. 

එතුමා ගෘහ පුස්තකාල හිමියන්ගේ සංගමය නම් ෆේස්බුක් සමූහය හරහා මෙවැනි පැරණි පොත් විශාල ප්‍රමාණයක් ඉදිරිපත් කරනවා. එතුමා එම පොත් මාගේ බ්ලොග් අඩවියේ පළ කිරීමට ද අවසර ලබා දුන්නා. පසුගිය දා ලංකාවට පැමිණි අවස්ථාවක එතුමා සතුව තිබූ පොත් රාශියක් කැමති අයට නොමිලේ බෙදා දුන්නා. එහිදී ලිහිණි පොත් කිහිපයක් මට ද හිමි වුණා. ඒ අනුව මා සතුව තිබූ ලිහිණි පොත් ගණන ඉහළ ගියා. ඒ වගේ ම අමතක වුණු පිටු නම් මුහුණු පොත් පිටුවෙන් මියගිය කිරිල්ලි කවි සංග්‍රහය මට හමු වුණා. එම පොත ද මා සතුව තිබෙන පොතක්. එය නැවත ස්කෑන් නොකර එම පිටුවේ පළ කර තිබූ පොත එලෙසම මෙහි ඉදිරිපත් කරනවා.එසේ ම අන්තර්ජාලයෙන් හමු වූ තවත් පොත් කිහිපයක් ද මේ සමග එකතු කර ඇති.

ලිහිණි පොත් පිළිබඳ සිළුමිණ ඉරිදා පත්‍රෙය් පළ වූ රසවත් ලිපියක් ද මෙහි පළමුවෙන් ඉදිරිපත් කරනවා. (දිගුව)
